A Helicopter Crashed Outside My House and the Hospital Was Full of Water

It was late at night, and I heard the sound of something overhead, then a huge bang as a helicopter crashed outside my house.

I immediately called 999 but wasn’t sure which emergency service to ask for. Should I ask for the ambulance and get them to send a fire engine too? Or should I ask for the fire service and get them to send an ambulance too?

Luckily, nobody was killed, but people were injured. One of the injured people was a guy called Tom, who I went to school with. He said he would need stitches in his leg, so I needed to drive him to the hospital.

I asked my dad if I could borrow his car in case Tom wanted to listen to music — the stereo in my car was broken.

As it happened, somebody else drove the car. Also, another injured person came with us. So there I was, sitting in the back of my dad’s car while a stranger drove us all to the hospital.

At the hospital, I wandered around and got a bit lost. I realised that nobody had my phone number, so I was worried that I wouldn’t find them again to take them home afterwards.
