A lot of people can be helped, but not everyone. Like, if I saw someone on a bridge, looking like they were about to jump off, I would do whatever I could to get them to not jump and to come back. and in many cases, people can be brought back from the brink. But sometimes there are some people who are so determined to kill themselves that they will find a way to do it. And there are even some people who, if you try to pull them back, will pull you off the bridge with them. So, the skill is in making sure you protect yourself while helping those who can actually be helped.
