Aarrgghh, this whole area is a minefield! Some biological women get offended that transgender women are called women. Then some transgender people get offended that they aren't. People getting offended that other people don't use language in precisely the way that fits with their view of the world. One day in the future, people might one day look back and consider such squabbling over words to be silly. Whatever is considered the "right" thing to say at the moment, there's a chance it will be considered wrong in the future.
