Actually, I was a fan Eckhart Tolle for quite some time. I understand what he's getting at, and I do still think that some of what he says is helpful. I've just come to realise that some of it is nonsense. There are better teachers. Adyashanti and Rupert Spira, for example.
There are real problems that need real solutions.
If you're homeless and have no money, you're more likely to have other problems as a result. You're more likely to be a victim of crime or abuse, more likely to have poor health or get a serious illness. In Los Angeles, for example, they have a terrible rat problem. And yes, that is a real problem. It's not just in their heads. It's a form of gaslighting to tell people their problems are only in their heads.
