Actually, most of the time, with most publication editors, I don't have any problems. Most of them either work with me to agree on minor changes, or they just publish it exactly as I submitted it. Occasionally, one of my articles will get rejected because it doesn't fit, and that's fine. I publish elsewhere or self-publish.

In my open letter, I was referring to a minority of cases where changes were made without even telling me. If you think that's acceptable behaviour for a Medium publication editor, you and I have very different ideas about how collaborative the writer-editor relationship should be.

And if you're saying you're going to now contact all the publication editors and tell them to remove me as a writer, you really need to find something better to do with your time.
