Why did such a short man wear such baggy trousers?
If you were alive in the 90s and lived in the UK, you will remember the band East 17.
And so, you will remember the lead singer, Brian Harvey. He was short, standing at only 5 foot 4 inches.
So, he would make himself look taller by wearing very tall hats. But he would also wear extremely baggy trousers.
I know baggy trousers were in fashion in the 90s, but his were twice as baggy as anyone else’s. And on such a short person, they looked ridiculous.
But maybe that was the point. The aim was to entertain people, after all. As long as that’s what you’re aiming for, everything's gonna be alright.
