Here’s a recent dream I had

I was out walking at night on the edge of my town. I suddenly became scared of the night sky. But it wasn’t full of stars. It was overcast with thick, low clouds. I decided to face my fear, so I lay down on my back and stared up at the sky.

While lying on the ground, I noticed flashes about a mile away and wondered what they were. Then the upstairs windows of the nearby buildings started flashing. I thought that it was families electrocuting their elderly relatives.

What does this dream mean?

I have been out walking during the dark evenings recently. I sometimes stop to look up at the stars. This can feel a bit scary to me. The neverending expansiveness of it feels overwhelming, and I feel like I might float up and drift off into space.

But sometimes, a low cloudy night sky can be scary too. There’s something oppressive about it like it’s pressing down on me.
