How Do You Know You’re Not the Only Human Writer On Medium?

What if you were all alone, surrounded entirely by artificial intelligence?

As I write this, I know it’s me writing it. I can see my fingers typing on the keyboard.

But how do I know another human will ever read it? And when I read stories from other writers, how do I know they were written by humans?

What if I’m all alone in a gigantic AI experiment? What if I’m the only human on a website filled with algorithm-generated content?

After all, if the algorithm knows what it wants, it could just create it directly, right?

You might respond and tell me you are human, but isn’t that what AI would say anyway?
