I agree, but this will happen whether we consciously acknowledge it or not.

In the meantime, while our thoughts are walking down a dusty old trail, there are people and places all around us we are missing. We should be paying attention to the present moment, maybe listening hard to someone who is trying to make our existence one of happiness and serenity than hate and stress and worry.
Stress and PTSD and nightmares are very real.
