I Asked AI to Create Some Weird Top 10 Lists for Me

Including “10 Advantages of Going Shopping in the Nude” and “10 Reasons to Smear Yoghurt Over Your Own Face”

So, I gave Notion’s AI a series of prompts for ridiculous (and sometimes downright dangerous) top 10 lists. My aim was to see how it tried to make sense of bizarre requests. Here are some things I have learned from doing this:

• It tries its best to give a helpful, sensible answer, no matter how crazy the prompt.
• It doesn’t appear to understand what jokes are.
• It doesn’t know who Smillew Rahcuef or Susie Kearley are, and instead just makes random stuff up that could fit anyone.

All the sections in italics are the bits generated by the AI.
