I don't believe someone would pay $44 billion for something if they didn't think it was going to be a HUGE benefit to them. We cannot predict the finer details, but we can be sure that whatever he does will be intended mainly for his own benefit rather than the users of Twitter.

But having said that, he will still need to please most of the users too. Because if he didn't, loads of people would leave Twitter and that would backfire. He's still got to keep it as a well-functioning social media platform.
