I prefer it when editors don't edit my stories. But I edit them thoroughly myself. Sometimes I read stories with basic errors, and I sigh because it makes the writer seem lazy. But maybe I need to rethink that attitude? But maybe it's not always easy to discern the difference between someone with dyslexia, someone who is using language creatively, and someone who is just failing to edit their own writing thoroughly enough.
