I realised I made a mistake when quoting my rate. It's $30 per 500 words, so $60 per 1000 words. But I often end up going over the stated word count, and my client happily pays me the extra amount. So, sometimes, I end up writing 2500 words and getting paid $150, of which I get $114. But it would take me a couple of days to finish an article of that length. Upwork isn't too bad if you find good clients.

But after a day of writing, I often don't feel like doing more writing.
