I was in Bristol the day before protesters toppled the statue of Edward Colston and dumpted him in the harbour:

I had a day out in the city the day before that happened. Everywhere was totally quiet due to the Covid-19 restrictions. I stood at that spot at the harbour, and it was so quiet, there was nobody around. It felt very strange, because it's normally a busy area. I didn't know what was going to happen on that exact spot the following day.
