Except for the bit about it potentially ruining Joe Rogan's career. Even if Spotify did get rid of him, he would have other platforms queing up to broadcast his show.

But I expect Joe made sure his contract with Spotify included a section which stated that the contract could not terminated if Joe had a guest which said some things that some people considered misinformation.

If Neil Young had any understanding of WHY Rogan's guest's views were misinformation, he could have written an article (or created a video) containing the reasons why.

So yeah, Neil is behaving very foolishly. He's throwing his toys out of his pram like a big baby.
