I’m not telling anybody what to do, or preventing them from doing anything. I shared numbers that are freely available, which have been published by the British Government, and I provided a link to the full report. I also stated that I’m not qualified to speak about the science behind the numbers. I phrased the article as a question, so that rather than being a conclusive report, it was intended to start a conversation. And of course, as part of that conversation, people are free to point out errors in what I have said.

I do take on board your previous points that I should read the full report and that I only presented absolute numbers rather than percentages. I will definitely keep that in mind in future.

Could you please provide a link to data showing that the vaccines reduce the chances of dying from the Delta variant?

In terms of asking medical experts for their view, what is the best way of doing that? And I mean someone that is independent, not one who works for one of the vaccine companies or who has received funding from someone with financial interest.
