In a way, this does make sense. If you stop being active here, they stop sending you views. I mean, the views must be going somewhere, so it makes sense for it to go to fresh content. This means they are levelling the playing field for newer writers. It means if you've been here a long time and built up a large body of previous content, it doesn't matter. Keep producing content or die, that seems to be what it's about.
