Imagine how differently this could have played out if it had been anyone other than these two. Imagine if it had been a white man hitting Chris Rock, or Will Smith hitting Ricky Gervais. Imagine if the comedian had been female.

Just because Chris Rock is black and male, the outrage and justice brought upon Will Smith should be just the same as if it was any of the above scenarios.
