Is the tipping custom the same through the US? That's always seemed weird to me. We don't really have that here. Also, we tend to pay for food and drink before we eat or drink it, rather than at the end. Things cost what they cost, and there doesn't tend to be an expectation to give the staff any additional money. As far as we're concerned, it's not our responsibility to pay staff. We pay for products, and the rest is none of our business.
