But you shouldn’t pay any attention to my advice. I’ve not been on Medium long enough. So, my number one piece of advice is to go and find something better to read.
But since you shouldn’t listen to my advice, that means you should stay here and read this. It’s important and you don’t want to miss out.
#1: Read and respond to as many articles as possible, like your genitals will explode if you don’t
Medium is a social site, so be sure to read and respond as much as you possibly can. Especially my articles as those are the ones most worth reading. Even though I’ve not been here even a year yet and have no idea what I’m doing. But if you clap and comment on my articles, I will be notified and might reciprocate.
#2: Don’t look at your notifications, ever
Notifications are a complete waste of your time. Looking at them won’t earn you any money. Any time you spend looking at your notifications you could spend writing your next viral article titled 50 Amazing Things I Learned From Tim Kernan and Sean Denning’s Awesome Online Course About How to Write Viral Articles That Turn You Into a Millionaire Overnight.
#3: Write during every available waking moment
Any activity that isn’t writing, stop doing it and write instead. For any essential daily tasks, try to combine them with writing.
Buy a waterproof laptop and write in the shower. Buy a laptop harness for your neck and write while walking to the supermarket. You need to go there to buy the things you forgot to get on your weekly online shopping order…
