Of course. There could be the assumption that the spectrum is a one-dimentional line where all characteristics increase equally as you progress further along the line. But actually, the "spectrum" could be two-dimensional or even three-dimensional.

When I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in 2012, it was concluded that I was at the mild end. One could assume from this that I have all autstic traits mildly. That's not actually the case. I have some traits severely, but others hardly at all.

Its possible for people to be at a similar point on the spectrum in terms of the overall score that they might get on an autism quotient test, but their traits might present differently. One person might be terrible in social situations but not too bad with sensory stimulation, another person might be okay in social situations but extremely sensitive to noise, and a third person might have more of an issue with getting obsessed with their weird special interest.
