Ohh, I didn't know this!

However, I became aware that stories published in pubs are not distributed to my direct followers in that fashion. The only people that see an author icon for new posts are the followers of that publication (That was confirmed by one of my followers in the comments). And when you publish under your account, those who followed via your profile would see your author icon.
