How are they going to police this, though? How can you prove that a student paid someone to write their essay for them?
Sure, it’s easy to check whether an essay has been copied from elsewhere online. But if a student has paid someone to write it for them, and it’s unique content that hasn’t appeared anywhere else online, how can you check that?
Yes, content mills that advertise themselves as providing student essay writing services can be closed down or fined. But what if a content mill or freelance writer doesn’t advertise those services but secretly provides them anyway?
