Some say that the need for vitamin C is far less when on a carnivore diet.

"This is because glucose and vitamin C have a near-identical molecular structure and share the same pathways when absorbed into cells. When glucose and vitamin C compete, glucose wins out."

The British Heart Foundation says that meat does increase heart disease risk a bit:

Oxford University says so too:

I remember when her father Jordan Peterson was talking about this on Joe Rogan's podcast, he admitted that the all-meat diet probably was going to kill him eventually. I suppose with an extreme case like his daughter's, it might be worth the risk just to have a life free from all those horrific health problems. It seems that she exhausted all other options before settling on a meat-only diet.

Yes, she did upload the video to her own YouTube channel. But a lot of people watching that will already be familiar with her. I think the best option would have been for TEDx to ask her to record an extra disclaimer for the beginning of the video. Something like: "This is what worked for me, but it might not work for you. Please check with your doctor before making any significant changes to your diet. I cannot take responsibility for any adverse reactions caused by following this diet."
