Thank you for that, Susie. It's good for me to hear that other people struggle with their family members too.

I think people like to find fault in other people to try to make themselves feel better. Your sister probably always brings up your past "mistakes" to take the focus off her. It makes her feel better to talk about all the bad things she thinks you've done.

With my brother, the thing that made it so confusing was that he seemed to so desperately want to be friends with me. If he'd wanted nothing to do with me, in some ways that would have been easier to deal with. But he wanted to hang out with me and socialise with me, but only if I behaved exactly how he wanted me to. For example, we were both into making music, and he liked to have these jamming sessions, but he almost always criticised the things I would play, and wanted me to play things he liked instead. But if I was to ever criticise the things he played, that would lead to a fight.
