It is difficult to condense a topic like this down into an 8-minute article. Of course, when quoting someone, it will be just one small part of what they have said on the topic. This highlights the limitations of any quotes. Yet quotes like these get shared as if they are entirely true in themselves.

I suppose the only way round this, in an 8-minute article, would have been to have quoted more from Adyashanti, for example, but then I wouldn't have had time to quote from others, so it would have been a one-sided view.

Of course, I could have written a longer article that was a deeper investigation into what all of these gurus have said on this topic. But I'm unsure whether many people would have had the staying power to read through the whole article.
