That makes sense from a business perspective. But it's still problematic that the price point makes it inaccessible to many people.

I actually like what Sam Harris has done with his Waking Up app and Making Sense podcast. He charges a regular fee for it, but he often says that if anybody cannot afford it, just send an email and they will be given access for free. I did that, and got a year's free access to his podcast. I was extremely grateful for that.
