The thing is, even if one is aiming to publish daily, that doesn't have to mean publishing the article you started that day. I publish most days, but I almost never publish an article on the same day I start it. How does that work? I write first drafts and then leave them until another day. Then I edit articles I started on previous days. It's about building up a contant chain of in-progress drafts that are all at various stages of editing. Often, an article will have been a draft for a week, and all it needs for the final push is for a few typos to be fixed, then it's good to go. In fact, if I've made more than a few minor changes to a draft, I like to leave it for yet another day.
