The Two Most Extreme Dating Experiences I Will Never Forget
One was a raving conspiracy theory lunatic who spat on the floor
In 2018 and 2019, I went full-on with internet dating.
After years of being single, partly due to bad previous experiences, I decided to jump back into it. Most of the dates were enjoyable, even when they didn’t lead beyond the first date. It was usually nice to chat with someone new.
But there were a couple of first dates that stand out as bad experiences.
The one that was terminally ill
This was both the best and worst date I ever went on.
It was the best because we got on so well. We spent 8 hours together and never once got tired of each others company.
Of course, the fact that she was really cute was a huge bonus too.
It’s just a tragedy that at the end of the date she told me she had cancer. What the hell? I didn’t know how to handle that, and I’m still not sure whether I handled it the best way.
