I’m not just a writer. I’m also a musical composer and a photographer. My artistic name for my music and images has long been Laughing at the Sky. I always liked the combination of poetic beauty and light-hearted humour that this name invokes.

I haven’t made any new music for a while because there’s just not enough time to do everything. But I’ve made so much music over the years that I now have quite a lot to refer back to if I ever want to. Such as now.

I made this one, Trapped Inside Jean-Michel Jarre’s Beautiful Tangerine Nightmare, eight years ago in 2014. It’s something of an epic, stretching to over ten minutes long. I was aiming for a combination of Tangerine Dream and Jean-Michel Jarre. Or, more specifically, 80s Tangerine Dream and 80s/90s Jean-Michel Jarre.
