My Medium earnings have really plummeted, but my recent freelance work is more than making up for it. Not quite a full-time income yet, but it's already becoming more than I was getting from Medium at my peak last year.

Now my aim is to get most of my income from freelance writing, and to not worry about what I earn from Medium. I see Medium as a fun playground where I can let my hair down and write whatever I want to write, just for the fun of it. Any Medium earnings are a bonus.

People who complain about Medium should just piss off. Nobody is forcing any of us to be here.
