What do you think about Medium writers who don't read or respond to comments?

Personally, I welcome disagreement. It gives me the opportunity to rethink my views. If I still think I'm right, I like to argue my point. But if I realise that the other person has a valid point, I try to see it as an opportunity to overcome my ego.

Opinions are not static, and a published article is not the final word. An article can be the start of a conversation. And it's not about who's right or wrong, it's about exploring a topic and seeing where it goes.

This is why I often phrase my titles as questions, and why I sometimes structure my articles as points for and against. I sometimes try to include the opposing views. If I can give the other side a head start, why not? Let's get to the crucial points ASAP and see what's going on.
