Why Does An Old Man Walk Naked Around My Local Woods?

There is a nudist who walks naked around the woods near my town. I’ve never seen him fully nude, but I have seen him getting undressed behind a tree.

I have heard reports that he often walks around a popular part of the woods where the main public footpath runs. Many people walk along that route, including families with young children.

Apparently, when he sees other people, he does drape a cloth over his private parts. But even so, it’s quite odd.

I have no problem with the naked human body, but since we live in a society where most people aren’t naked, people do get alarmed when they see somebody who is.

Imagine if you were a lone female or a parent with young children, and you suddenly saw a naked man you didn’t know. It would worry you, wouldn’t it? You don’t know who he is, so you don’t know why he’s naked. And if somebody breaks a common social custom such as wearing clothes, what else are they doing differently? They might like to eat their own poo, for all you know.

And there are plenty of less busy woods around here. If someone insists on spending time naked outside, there are places where you are less likely to meet other people.
