Why is it that the people who play their music the loudest are usually the ones with the worst taste in music? I mean, if you're going to crank it up, at least play something decent!

I suspect it's because it's not really about the music. It's about being aggressive. It's about forcing your presence onto those around you. Like when someone insists on having a loud phone conversation in a confined public space.
