Without a Belief in God, Everyone Would Run Around Naked Hitting People

This is a fact, and you can’t argue with facts. Well, you can try, but you will lose. But even if you don’t, it would still be true. And even if it wasn’t, it still might be. Got that?

I don’t believe in God, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t exist. He probably does, but I don’t believe that’s the case. What I believe and what’s actually true might be two completely different things. And even if they weren’t, that in itself wouldn’t prove God doesn’t exist. But even if it did, I would still believe he didn’t anyway.

But the main thing is, it’s important to believe God exists. If you do in fact think he does. Believing in God makes people behave themselves, but only if those people genuinely think he really exists. For people who don’t think he really does, believing in him doesn’t seem to make any difference. But even if it did, that in itself doesn’t prove that God doesn’t exist. It doesn’t prove that he does either. But if it did, that wouldn’t necessarily mean everyone would believe he does.

Confused? That’s God’s fault because he created you. If he exists. If he doesn’t exist, it’s nobody’s fault, not even yours. It’s definitely not mine, that’s for sure. But even if it was, I wouldn’t care. And even if I did, I would pretend I didn’t. So there!
