WOW! What a captivating story!

I remember when my dad had his first heart attack, about 9 or 10 years ago. It was very scary. He had another one about a year afer that, then soon after that he had a stent put in, which made all the difference, and he's still alive.

I have maximum respect for anyone that works in the emergency services. I've read two book written by paramedics. And when the ambulence came for my dad, they were so wonderful. Unfortunately, my small town doesn't have an ambulance station, but we do have a fire station, so the firefighters arrived in a car before the ambulance did, because they carry oxygen.

I am so grateful we have the NHS here in the UK. Whenever I see an NHS ambulance, I'm glad that the person will not have to pay for treatment.
