Yes, handling medical emergency calls must be stressful. I have a lot of respect for emergency workers. I've read a couple of books written by paramedics, and they do a difficult job in extremely challenging situations. Also, the two times my dad had heart attacks, I was so impressed with how they responded. There's often a lot of talk about what a bad state our National Health Service is in, but boy did they save us when we really needed them!
