Yes, I did write an article that people on the autistic spectrum tend to be resistant to peer pressure. That has certainly been my experience.

But I have also experienced being manipulated. So there is a difference between normal peer pressure and deliberate manipulation. Like when you're trying to be friends with someone and not realising that they don't really have your best interests at heart, and missing the cues that other people might have noticed. It's possible to fall for that type of manipulation but still be rather immune to peer pressure.

I think I have become wiser to being manpulated as I've got older, though.
