Yes, I see what you mean. So, there are two factors: whether something exists and whether something is good.
So, I believe that Vladimir Putin exists, but I don't think he's is good. I am an anti-putinist but not an aputinist.
There is also another factor: whether belief in something is beneficial, regardless of whether it's true or not. Jordan Peterson seems to take this view with God, that believing in God is beneficial, even if God doesn't actually exist. I have a problem with that view. I would rather find out what's true, even if it turns out to be an uncomfortable truth.
