Yes, it seems to be a common human problem. We want answers to our problems, but we shy away from doing the hard graft needed to take action that would make a difference.

This is a also big issue with the whole "make money online" niche. People pay money for a guide that claims to show them how to succeed at online business. But then they realise that it involves a lot of hard work, and a lot of people just give up at that point, or part way through.

We get a nice feeling when we spend money on something we think is worthwhile, particularly if we think it's going to change our life. But once that high subsides, we're faced with the cold, hard reality of actually putting the work in.

With your nutrition business, a good way to have approached it would have been to make it clear to people from the outset that it is going to require commitment and hard work on their part. You could even go so far as to say that if they are not committed to that, to leave right now. You might scare some people off in the beginning, but those whole don't get scared off are more likely to stick it out.
