Yes, it's difficult trying to understand the algorithm. There are so many variables at play. But there's not really enough data here to draw any solid conclusions. You could repeat this experiment again and suddenly find great success. Then you could repeated it some more and fail. I'm often baffled by which stories go viral and which ones fall flat.
