Did you know that Illumination accepts shortform articles? I've recently had some shortform pieces published through them. Generally, I find Illumination to be a good general publication if I have something that doesn't fit the niche of another publication. I think I've only had one serious problem with an editor editing my piece without asking me, but that has never happened any other time. It seems to be really well run, and they promote your articles if they like them.
