Yes, well, he asked me to write a YouTube script as a first test job. I did that, and thought I did it well, but he wasn't quite happy with the tone of my writing. I couldn't fully grasp the changes he wanted me to make, so I offered to refund him.
Yes, a part-time job could be good, if it's one that suits me that I can stick at. I kind of had that before. A lot has been changing lately, though.
During my time doing that long-term part-time job, I tried so many different ways to try to make additional money to supplement it. Then, when I joined Medium in July last year, that job was just coming to an end, and it finished at the end of August. But by then I'd started doing a bit of work for a friend of mine. Then I signed up for Universal Credit at the end of last year. Then I quit working for my friend so I could focus just on Medium to try to make that succeed. But it didn't succeed, so the benefits woman complained and started putting pressure on me. So I asked my friend if he still had any work I could do for him, but he doesn't.
So yeah, a lot's been changing, and now I'm getting a bit desperate to try to get the money in. But part of me thinks maybe it would actually be good to get some help to find a really suitable part-time job.
