You make some valid points here, but I disagree with the statement in your title. We don't necessarily need stop listening to him. If anything, we should listen to him more, to udnerstand why some of his views don't hold up.

I enjoyed the debates he had with Sam Harris, as I think Sam does a good job of challenging Jordan's ideas and beliefs.
